Bonaldo was born in Padova in 1936, as a company specialised in producing metal used in the furnishing industry.

From the collaboration with internationally renowned designers such as Alain Gilles, Bartoli and Karim Rashid, were born proper masterpieces like the Big Table or the Venere and Poly chairs.
